Michael Stone
Founder, Step Ahead Development Program
I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and a double-minor in Economics & Mathematics. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a 4.0 GPA and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities & Media Studies. I have been really fortunate to attend some of the top academic institutions, and I am very proud of the way football left me with such a valuable education and degree.

I am passionate about reading and writing, and I enjoy helping high school students find ways to use their voice through literature. I have a strong understanding of Math through Calculus II, and I enjoy using my conversational Spanish to help others learn English. Unfortunately, I do not have a great understanding of anything science-related.

Valedictorian from West Boca, Freshman at Harvard
Alexander is my youngest brother, and he handles academic happenings that he is well-suited for. Alexander finished as Valedictorian for West Boca High School Class of 2022 (check out his grad speech here!). He has just completed his freshman year at Harvard University with a 3.9 GPA. In high school, he maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA, scored a 1570 on the SAT (800 Math, 770 English) and a perfect 36 on the ACT (36 Math, 36 Science, 36 English, 35 Reading). He earned the following recognition: AP Scholar with Distinction, Sunshine State Scholar, and the lucrative United States Presidential Scholar.

He is currently undecided on his major, but is deciding between Applied Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Science. He has extensive experience tutoring through several school organizations and has started his own tutoring company: ACT, SAT, and AP Tutoring. He is well-qualified in all academic areas, but is especially interested in tutoring Mathematics, Science, and SAT / ACT. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, chess, piano, and hanging out with his friends.

"Life is a big game of perspective. While there's no board game out there called perspective, but there is one called Life, and it's up to us to decide which one we are going to live."
